There is an age old debate about human performance and success – whether it is due to ‘nature’ or ‘nurture’. At Varroc we believe that while both are important, we can go beyond them through a structured step by step process .That is why we have developed our own customized Competency Model. The competencies one needs to be successful at Varroc are explained through the customized Varroc’s Competency Model.
We feel that it is the potential of the person which should be nurtured and valued higher than the past performance. Accordingly, we have developed a Performance Potential Matrix which dictates our HR interventions on an individual basis. We also strongly believe that as you grow up in the hierarchy and take up the leadership roles, your technical skills become less important than your managerial and conceptual skills. As you go up the ladder, you become more and more of an HR person and become a teacher/ mentor/ coach to build very strong bench strength of future leaders- leaders who have high proficiency level in the competencies mentioned above in order to have great execution power.Varroc as a career choice
